America had a choice between a leader who promised to a president for all people and a traitor who campaigned on fear and hatred.

And America chose the traitor.

Vice President Kamala Harris offered a vision to take this country forward, off the robust economy she and President Joe Biden built.

Mango Mussolini repeatedly referred to America as a “garbage can” at his rallies.

She pledged to include Republicans in her administration.

He promised mass deportations of millions.

He boasted about his revenge plans and fantasized about putting a political rival in front of a firing squad. He stated that those who criticize the Supreme Court should be jailed.

He vowed to weaponize the Department of Justice against Democrats. He pledged to fire civil servants and replace them with those only loyal to him.

Harris offered concrete details about moving the economy forward and some of the innovations she wanted to make in the safety net, including providing home health care aides under Medicare.

After only eight years to think about it, Toupee Dimbulb said he had a “concept” of a health plan.

He promised he would be a dictator, but only for a day – as if any dictator in history has ever willingly conceded power.

He promised tax breaks to billionaires, pledged to put an ill-informed vaccine denier in charge of the nation’s health agencies, and give free reign to tech fascist Elon Musk.

He spread lies about Haitian immigrants eating cats and dogs, and when confronted with the truth, he doubled down on the smear.

Remind me again: Why did Putin’s Lil Bitch need a new running mate?

Oh, that’s right: He tried to get his last running mate killed.

You might have thought that whole January 6th thing in which he incited an insurrection to overtake the Capitol would have ended his political career.

He didn’t leave office willingly the first time. What sane person would ever trust him again with the nuclear codes?

And let’s a give a shout-out to our national media for his crushing victory. CNN and the New York Times have been sane-washing the “Home Alone 2” Star’s most deranged moments and dressing him up as a serious candidate for years. Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos killed his paper’s Harris endorsement just days before the election, and in the last year has only tweeted twice, both times to congratulate Cadet Bone Spurs. Jeffy must be thirsty for those sweet tax breaks for a new mega-yacht.

As CNN commentator Van Jones noted, Harris had to be flawless while the Diapered Turd got to be lawless.

And here’s the thing: You can almost forgive the 2016 election. You can make the case – or at, least you were able to up until Tuesday night – that people didn’t know what they were voting for. They wanted to try a Washington outsider.

There’s no excuse now.

The United States likes to portray itself to the world as this model of compassion and morality. In reality, it’s dominated by cretins who live by every word huffed on Fox News, the only network, it should noted, whose first line of defense every time it is sued is: But we’re an entertainment channel!

Are you not entertained?

Make no mistake, Little Hands Loser’s second term will be far different than the first.

The guardrails are gone.

The good and conscientious Republican men and women who honored the Constitution have abandoned him, exhausted and appalled by his malevolence and gross stupidity.

Left only are the toadies and the traitors, the likes of Stephen Miller, Rudy Giuliani, Laura Loomer, and Mike Flynn.

He is petty and mean. He campaigned on nothing but bile and cruelty. He has never shown genuine empathy or interest in another human being. He has not one redeeming quality. He is everything we tell our children not to be.

The days ahead promise to be brutal, with a lightning fast unraveling of the safety net and a full-on assault on civil liberties.

The Supreme Court will tilt reactionary right for at least the next thirty years. Thomas and Alito are sure to retire, and the Seeping Anal Fissure will appoint two young loyalists who will continue the war on minorities.

In electing The Wet Fart Who Walks Like a Man, we’ve not only let ourselves down, we’ve screwed the rest of the world. Our allies in NATO? The soldiers in Ukraine? Suddenly the world is a lot less safer. We did that.

If there’s one thing to look forward to, it will be that moment – and oh, yes, it’s coming – when his base realizes his ridiculous tariffs and tax cuts for the rich, his sanctions and stupidity, devastate their lives.

“I never thought the leopard would eat my face!” Sob. Sob. Sob.

The “pundits” are critiquing how Harris and the Democrats failed to connect with the American people. They’ll be doing that through every Sunday talk show for six months.

The real question is: Why are racism and misogyny so appealing to voters?

Kamala Harris didn’t fail the American people.

We failed her.

She spoke to our better angels.

She gave us too much credit.
