DC Universe’s “Doom Patrol” – starring the most unlikely heroes of all time – returns for a second season, this time on HBO MAX.

From the fresh trailer, it seems our misfits will be adjusting to their powers and to each other as a team – and just in time, as the Chief’s (Timothy Dalton) reality-bending daughter Dorothy is about to take them on a walk down one twisted road.

The teaser gives a tantalizing look at some of the team’s new opponents – including one monstrous spider and — pink people?

Sure, why not?

It’s the Doom Patrol. They fight the foes no one else dares fight. Something like that.

Gotta love Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero) annoying Cyborg (Joivan Wade) as if he’s an Amazon Echo Dot.
