Let’s geek out over ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ trailer

Now this is how you show love to someone.

Today, on Valentine’s Day, HBO Max dropped the trailer to “Zack Synder’s Justice League.”

There’s so much to take in.

“How do you know your team’s strong enough?” Alfred (Jeremy Irons) challenges. “If you can’t bring down the charging bull, then don’t wave the red cape at it?”

Does this give Batman (Ben Affleck) the push to revive the greatest hero of all?

The trailer promises extended looks at Cyborg’s (Ray Fisher) origin, the Flash’s (Ezra Miller) complicated relationship with Iris West, and Superman’s (Henry Cavill) painful rebirth.

“You said the Age of Heroes would never come again,” Diana (Gal Gadot) questions Bruce.

“It will,” he says. “It has to.”

I believe. Do you?

Darkseid!

He looks scary as bleep.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Affleck, Fisher, and Amber Heard (Mera) returned to shoot some new scenes.

Unexpected: Jared Leto as the Joker.

“We live in a society where honor is a distant memory. Isn’t that right – Batman?”

Is this Leto’s chance to make the character of the clown prince of crime at last his own?

Watch the trailer for yourself:

Snyder promises the four-hour, R-rated film will be nothing like the disjointed mess filmgoers saw in theaters back in 2017.

“Zack Synder’s Justice League” premieres March 18 on HBO Max.
