Never forget: NBC is the reason America is saddled with Trump

NBC’s decision to grant Donald Trump airtime after he refused to debate Democratic rival Joe Biden is another example of how the peacock network has consistently betrayed America to enable an unfit narcissist.

Trump has such a stranglehold over the nation’s attention, it’s hard to remember that back in 2004, he was a marginal figure outside of New York. Then “Survivor” creator Mark Burnett tapped him to host “The Apprentice,” the reality series that presented Trump as a canny, successful businessman.

That image had nothing to do with Trump’s broken reality and his multiple bankruptcies.

Jim Carrey debuts as Joe Biden on a sleepy ‘Saturday Night Live’

NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” returned for its 46th season with comedian Jim Carrey playing Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, Alec Baldwin returning as President Donald Trump, and a tone that suggested the rush of recent events were even too much for the writers to process.

Those events included that debacle of a presidential debate, Trump’s failure to denounce white supremacy, and Trump being diagnosed with the coronavirus.

Tina Fey realizes blackface is offensive … in 2020

Tina Fey has managed to have four episodes of her sitcom “30 Rock” pulled from syndication and streaming services because characters appear in blackface.

If you’re wondering how a major commercial network such as NBC would ever allow one of its prestige shows to depict characters in blackface, remember that “30 Rock” was filmed in a far simpler time, back in the 1940s –

Alec Baldwin’s Trump surprises graduates in SNL finale

President Trump (Alec Baldwin) shocked online graduates of Saint Mary Magdalene-by-the-Expressway when he popped up as their commencement speaker on the May finale of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”

He was so honored to be their “vale-dictator.” He apologized for his appearance – he had to resort to a Liza Minnelli Tik-Tok tutorial to do his own makeup.

He drank from a Clorox bottle – “good ole invincibility juice” – and had a few choice words of advice for the graduates.

“Surround yourself always with the worst people you can find. That way, you’ll always shine … Live every day like it’s your last, ’cause we’re gonna let this virus run wild.”

Is this Baldwin’s last appearance as Trump?
