Jimmy Kimmel has an urgent question for America

In the wake of the murder of George Floyd and the protests that have erupted across the nation, Jimmy Kimmel has a question for America:

Can you really take another four years of the clown in the White House?

The ABC late-night host got serious with his most recent monologue on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

“Our disgusting excuse of a president, Mr. Tough Guy, Donny Bonespurs decides, ‘I know what I’ll do. I’ll make this worse.’ Kimmel said, referring to Trump’s late-night tweet in which he said, ‘When the looting starts, the shooting starts.'”

(The Ku Klux Klan popularized that expression, fyi.)

“Our president is threatening to order the military to shoot Americans,” Kimmel noted, horrified.

To older Americans who lived through the race riots of the ’60s, he wondered, “Is this who you want leading us? A president who clearly and intentionally inflames violence in the middle of a riot to show how tough he is? A commander-in-chief who threatens to put members of our military, our national guardsmen and women in the position of having to shoot a fellow American on sight? I don’t care what you are, right, left, Republican, Democrat, I can’t imagine there are many of us who want that. Enough is enough. We gotta vote this guy out already.

Watch it for yourself. America can’t take another four years of this hell.
