He was a boy when his father thrust the first two issues of the now legendary DC series “Watchmen” into his hands. His father didn’t think he was ready for the groundbreaking story. He had no idea how much it would change the course of Damon’s life and influence his writings.

Is there a perfect soap moment?
A spot that somehow encapsulates all the great things about the soaps? One that captures the romance and the drama and demonstrates why they are so beloved by viewers?
I’ve been thinking about this a lot since ABC aired “The Story of Soaps,” a prime-time tribute to daytime serials.
It was a surprisingly well-done special, until Andy Cohen guest-starred in the role of undertaker and declared the soaps dead.
As if.

DC Universe’s “Doom Patrol” – starring the most unlikely heroes of all time – returns for a second season, this time on HBO MAX.
From the fresh trailer, it seems our misfits will be adjusting to their powers and to each other as a team – and just in time, as the Chief’s (Timothy Dalton) reality-bending daughter Dorothy is about to take them on a walk down one twisted road.
