NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” delivered the best show of the season last night – which, admittedly, is damning with faint praise considering how abysmal the season has been.
But powered by the utter charm of guest host Adele, the show for the first time did not feel like a horrible chore.

Sure hope ABC had medics on hand for last night’s “Bachelorette.”
Because there was a slow oncamera death, and it was suicide by stupidity.

You go to the Registrar of Slaves, take a number, wait your turn, present your documentation to a bored clerk, and walk out with the emancipation papers for the slave you want to marry.
In the season finale of HBO’s “Lovecraft Country,” one supernatural threat was defeated, but at a terrible price.
